ABOUT

Jon provides sponsorship, partnerships, marketing and communications consultancy to agencies, brands and rights holders.

A graduate of Loughborough University, he started his career in 2000 at a Leeds based sports marketing agency working across football, cricket, motorsport, rugby league and boxing.

 

After two Director level sponsorship agency roles in London from 2007 working for clients such as Aviva, Samsung, Barclays, Wrigley’s, QBE and The Co-operative, he moved to Barclays in 2010.

 

As Head of Sponsorship Partnerships, he was responsible for leading Barclays’ global sponsorship portfolio of over 100 properties with an annual budget in excess of £100m. Strategy, management and activation experience included the Barclays Premier League, Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, The O2, Barclays Cycle Hire, British Museum, Donmar Warehouse, National Maritime Museum and Beyond Sport.
